Tanka Ray from Kansas City

A long, long time ago I had the pleasure of sharing the stage with one of the most energetic “KC Streetpunk” bands around. I performed at my very first show in Rapid City, SD with Tanka Ray. The band I was playing with at the time was called Ladies Buffet and I remember being very inspired by these guys at a young age. I figured I needed share some of their music with you.

The only purchasable media I could dig up on these guys was on Interpunk. “And So I Abide” is a killer album that I have listened to thousands of times. You should get a copy while you still can, HERE IS THE LINK ———> CLICK HERE!

    • Ya, I still tour and every time I hit KC we blast Tanka Ray. Wish they were still around. I think Chaz is with Hudson Falcons and Jimmy is playing with a folk group called The Grisly Hands now. Both good bands.
